Blast from the Past: Old School Racing in the DTM Championship

Here's an onboard cam video from the 1988 German Touring Car Championship (DTM) with E30 M3, Ford, AUDI, and Mercedes EVO in the mix.

This is old school exemplified: straight cut gears, no double-clutch trannies, no electronics, and under-developed aero. Almost 25 years later, the technology has changed dramatically but the racing action has remained very much the same: fighting tooth-and-nail for every inch of pavement, bumping, trading paint, and diving to make a pass into tight turns. Whatever the race technology brings in another 25 years, here's hoping that the racing action will still be just as good!
