Digital Media as a Recruiting Tool for Grassroots Driving Events

Not to be outdone by BMW CCA Boston, its Seattle counterpart Puget Sound has put together a snazzy video to recruit drivers for its track events:

Previously, Boston had put together this fantastic Intro to Performance Driving and a Very Cool Autocross Video with a Psychedelic Twist. Digital media with professional level execution is now becoming a mass recruiting tool for grassroots driving events.

Based on the choice of music from Snoop Dogg, Tinie Tempah, and DJ Fresh, the Puget Sound is going after a young demographic. Boston's choice of music from Gorillaz and especially Pink Floyd targets a wider demographic. Or maybe Boston really is turning into a little Switzerland: old, prosperous, and... boring?

  1. The video was shot last year during a BMWCCA track day. Came out amazing and it's been good to encourage people to come out. I wish I had been at the event to make it in the video. Ironically I was in Boston that day :-)
