The Best Two Days of My Life...A common statement from participants of the ultimate trackday experience at North America's Premier Private Race Track.

At our private 2-day Radical Driving Experience, we teach you how to pilot the Radical SR3 racecar at speeds you previously thought impossible.  This lightweight racecar is built for performance but also meets stringent FIA safety standards.  Driving a Radical is like nothing you've ever experienced; acceleration is immediate and powerful, it corners like it's on rails, and the brakes stop this purpose-built track car on a dime.  No racing experience is required, and our paddle-shift racecraft is easy to master.  With a program designed to accommodate all experience levels, we'll show you how to extract every bit of performance out of the Radical.

And at Monticello Motor Club, you'll have privileged access to luxury typically reserved for our private club members.  You'll be challenged and entertained as you test the limits around our road course featuring long, fast straights, 450 feet of elevation changes, and captivating corners.

As a private member's club, we have extremely limited availability, and programs are limited to 8 participants with hours of private and semi-private instruction.

Twice is Nice: Another Special Racing School for Lime Rock Fans

Skip Barber really loved the fact that, when he asked the Skip Barber Racing School to provide a super-special Lime Rock price (a crazy-low $2,400) for the Three Day Racing School that was just before the Memorial Day weekend, our fans loved it.

The school sold out in four hours.

Yesterday, Skip Barber the Person convinced Skip Barber the School to offer the same deal for another Three Day Racing School.

The one Skip wanted to offer you racing guys and gals is September 24 – 26 (Mon. – Wed.).

That’s just before Lime Rock’s Grand-Am Daytona Prototype season finale, September 28-29.

Which means YOU will be putting down the rubber for Scott Pruett, Jon Fogarty, Bill Auberlen and the rest of the Grand-Am stars... how cool is that?

As before, you have a choice of the open-wheel Formula cars or the Mazda Miata MX-5 Cup sports racing cars.

There are 12 seats available in each, so if you want to take advantage of Skip’s “twisting of the [A]-arm” (lol), you might not want to delay.

Call the Skip Barber Racing School at 1.800.221.1131 to make a $2,400 Three Day Racing School happen!

From Skip to You,
We remain the racing folks who’ve got your back...

  1. There is one thing that Skip Barber has over the Monticello offering and that is the approval of SCCA as a "sanctioned" school! After completing the 3-Day Racing School you have the ability to get an SCCA license. That may be a non-issue for some but for many it's the motivation for spending all that money in the first place. The Formula cars from Skip Barber probably offer the same adrenaline rush as the Radicals, too! My vote is for SKIPPY! (But, yes, I am biased having done the school last year...)

  2. You'd probably benefit from having an instructor next to you in the Radical, though. Make that a VERY small instructor, please ;o)
