Old Skool Autocross!

From the BMW CCA archives

This is how the autocross drug was created in the early 70s. Half empty parking lot in front of a People's Drug store (what's CVS today) and two cones (unless they also used the shopping cart as part of the course layout)...

  1. At my first autocross back in 1971 there was a 289 Cobra(8 Webbers), a Barracuda Formula S convertable, a Road Runner (383), etc. I brought my MG 1100 and I believe top speed was about 35 at one of the university student parking lots.
