How to Tell If Your Car Is Too Front-Heavy


Weight distribution is crucially important to get right in race cars. There isn't a hard and fast rule for setting weight distribution, though, so most race teams adjust the ride height individually for each corner depending on the track layout, pavement, weather conditions, etc.

One thing is certain, though: if your car rides like this for an extended period after a jump, it is probably too heavy in the front!

  1. I forgot how throttle application affects the cars attitude before jumps but it looks like this guy was probably on throttle the entire time.
